Stay "In the Know" with EMCVenues' NEW RSS Feature!
EMCVenues now offers frequent meeting related updates, including new press releases,
event updates and even special offers.
What is RSS?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. RSS is a time-saving way for you to receive news
and information updates (often called "RSS feeds", "news feeds" or simply "feeds") from your
favorite Web sites and blogs.
Typically RSS feeds consist of headlines and short summaries of new articles,
blog entries or search results, though some Web sites and blogs offer the full
text of articles or blog entries as feeds.
Why Use RSS?
By using RSS you can stay on top of the news and information you need without
using your e-mail system and without repeatedly checking multiple Web sites to
see if they have been updated. RSS simplifies the way you stay informed and helps
you take control of overloaded email inboxes.

|
What does RSS cost?
You can sign up for and download most readers without any charge.
What do I do to receive RSS feeds?
To receive RSS feeds, three things are necessary. 1) The Web site or blog that you wish
to receive feeds from must offer feeds. 2) You need access to a feed reader, and 3)
you need to select the feeds you wish to receive.
How do I access RSS?
If you're using Internet Explorer, simply click this image in the feed you choose above the,
and a new window will pop up in your browser. In the new window, click Subscribe to this
feed and that RSS feed will automatically be added to your Favorites menu under the heading
Feeds. For Mozilla Firefox users, simply click the orange RSS button in your
address bar and add one of our LXR RSS live feeds to your personal toolbar.
For users of other web browsers, install any one of the news readers listed above and
then click on the corresponding button to add the RSS feed to your personal list.
A news reader is a program that enables you to subscribe to your preferred RSS and
news feeds, automatically updating and collecting new web content, information, and
specials, as they become available.
How do I subscribe to EMCVenues' RSS feeds?
Simply click the button next to each news reader that interests you, click "add," and you're ready to go.
